Holt High School

Completed 2018

110,000 Sq.Ft.

Completed in 2018, the new Holt High School replaced the oldest facility in the Tuscaloosa County School System. As an ode to Holt's rich history in iron and steel production, designer Zach Ward brought the steel structure to the forefront of the building design, where it would otherwise be concealed in wall cavities. In keeping with the school's primary color, both primary entries to the facility are clad in various purple glazing.
