In an effort to meet the needs of the rapidly growing Hillcrest community located south of downtown Tuscaloosa, the Tuscaloosa Park & Recreation Authority decided to build their next Activity Center in this area. The site is shared by Taylorville Primary School, which allows the students to take advantage of the facility during school hours.
