Tuscaloosa City Schools embarked on a systemwide redevelopment plan in early 2016. One of the major facilities was the construction of a new elementary school for the eastern portion of the City, combining the student populations from two campuses. The facility contains two stories of classrooms, a cafeteria, media center, and a storm shelter. The student capacity is 575.
